A big thank you to water customers – daily usage figures across the region have dropped significantly – thanks to your efforts during this drought.
With some recent light rainfall very welcome in our region, we’ve been able to avoid tougher water restrictions in the #Manning – for now!
However, the news isn’t so good for the #Stroud town water supply, where recent rainfall wasn’t enough to lift river levels. Restrictions will be tightened in Stroud next week, unless there’s significant rainfall in the next few days.
The message for everyone on town water supplies is please restrict your outdoor water use to a hand held hose, for one hour, every second day.
And we spare a thought for western NSW regions, many of whom have less than a month’s water storage supply for their towns.
