Remembrance Day at Old Bar
The Old Bar Beach RSL Sub-branch once again hosted a Remembrance Day service at Club Old Bar last Sunday. Being on a Sunday, it received more public support than is normal when it is on a weekday.
Sub-branch President, Geoff Gillard gave a short address on the history of the armistice and Chaplain, Fr. Peter Tinney led in prayers and spoke of the need for us to maintain the legacy handed down to us.

Get Apple Trained for the Holidays
The CTC @ Old Bar has always been able to provide training on a range of technology subjects but has struggled to offer training on I-pads or I-phones. Now that has changed. One of our priceless volunteers, Sue Lathwell, is happy to provide training to anyone on a one on one basis.
So why not get yourself up to speed for the holidays? For a very moderate cost, this can be done at the CTC or in your home if necessary. To obtain training on Apple devices, or any other technology subject, please call in at the CTC at 5/45 Old Bar Rd. or phone 6553-6677 to make an appointment.
